What to Look For in a Double Pushchair 3 Wheeler
It is the first modular double buggy in the world. It can be converted from single to tandem mode in a matter of seconds, and it accepts car seats. It has a generous basket, and tyres with foam that will never flat.
Our MFM testers were impressed by its clever one-handed fold as well as its clever mechanism for attaching and removing newborn cocoons. However, they felt it wasn't as agile on rough terrain as other models with bigger wheels.
Comfort
A quality double pushchair with 3 wheels should be comfortable for both baby and parents with a comfortable seat and hood that covers their heads. You will also have an array of colours and accessories that fit your preferences. The majority of models have recliners in multiple positions and some have a lie flat mode for infants. Some are also light making them easy to carry into the boot, or up and down kerbs.
Look for features that will make your ride more comfortable, such as soft suspension or a large basket. Certain models come with a frame that expands in width to accommodate a second seating position. This allows them to pass through narrow doors and are also easier to maneuver in rough terrain. Some models have a neat standing fold which takes up less space in storage. Some models have a bag for carrying the buggy.
Side-by-side buggies tend to be larger than single buggies, but certain models, like the Roma Gemini, manage to be lighter but still have enough nippy feel for use in cities or in theme parks. They're also generally easier to get to and from kerbs than other twin-seaters due to their more evenly distributed weight. They can be used from birth to four years old, and some are able to be attached to car seats or carrycots to extend the lifespan of the seat.

Some models can even be converted to a trio of children by incorporating a buggy board for older children who are mobile (UPPAbaby Vist V2 Double). While many manufacturers will specify the maximum weight for each seat, and possibly a total frame, it is difficult to know exactly how much your child will grow before they reach the age of toddlerhood.
You can decide if a double 3 wheeler pushchair is right for you by trying it out. This will allow you to observe how easy it is to use with two babies in. Ask the shop if they are able to offer a demo or hire agreement to give you an understanding of a model.

The latter is a good pick if you're after an all-terrain vehicle that can withstand long walks and rough terrain, such as cobbles dirt tracks, grass, and cobbles. Its huge 16" rear wheels with lockable swivel wheels and excellent suspension make it a very impressive bike.
Safety
A double pushchair 3 wheeler will give you a lot more stability than a standard four-wheeled pushchair, which makes it a safer choice if you regularly walk in the countryside. The typical pushchair with small wheels can become clogged with grass, sticks and mud which makes them difficult to steer. A double pushchair with three wheels has large rear wheels that cover the majority of the space. It is less likely to run into anything.
All-terrain strollers such as the Roma Gemini are ideal for those who live in areas with rough and bumpy terrain. This model features large, puncture-proof all-terrain tyres and a robust suspension that allows it to easily navigate all kinds of surfaces without any issues. The Bugaboo Fox 5 pushchair is another example of a good all-terrain stroller. It's also suitable for running after your child has reached the age of enough, thanks to its air-filled tyres as well as suspension. However, it's worth remembering that these types of pushchairs weigh more than standard models and can be a bit heavy to fold. It's ideal to use them for long walks over different kinds of terrain instead of for a quick trip around the town.
